Q - What should I wear?
A - Normal, everyday clothes. I do not use oil that will stain your clothes, and you won't feel greasy after the massage. The lotion I use is a great moisturizer, so you won't feel like you need a shower after the massage.
Q - Should I shower before my massage?
A - That's totally up to you! Either way is just fine.
Q - Should I shave my legs?
A - It is not necessary and doesn't bother me at all! But if it bothers you, feel free to shave!
Q - Do I need my hair to be down or tied up?
A - Long hair loosely tied up works best, and I have hairbands if you forget yours.
Q - Can I wear jewelry?
A - You can, but I will ask you to remove it before the massage. I have a dish you can put jewelry in, to keep it safe during the massage.
Q - How much clothing do I have to remove?
A - You may undress to your comfort level. You will be covered during the massage, except the area of the body being worked.
Most clients tend to settle into the massage and completely relax. I will check in with you about pressure and warmth. Please feel free to speak up, this is your massage.

I am so glad you asked! The logo is the chemical structure of serotonin, a neurotransmitter important for mood regulation, and normal sleep. Research suggests the effect of massage therapy on the nervous system increases serotonin levels. Having a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry has wired me to be a science geek!
